Intro to Doodle Knitting - Colorwork Beanie

This class will meet twice to learn how to use the Doodles to design and knit your own colorwork beanie.
Class dates: Thursday 11/19 6-8pm and Thursday 12/3 6-8pm
Instructor: Christine
Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. Must know how to knit and purl, cast on and cast off and knit in the round. Please note, this class has prework required!
Prework: Gauge swatch to determine if adjustments to your gauge are needed. Please come to class having cast on and knit/purled through the ribbing of your Beanie.
Required Materials:
- 1 skein base color in DK, already wound into a cake.
- A small assortment of mini skeins in supplemental/contrasting colors in DK
- A Pacific Knit Co Doodle Deck in theme of your choice
- Pacific Knit Co Base Doodle Pattern in either Beanie or Beanie 2
-stitch markers
-US 5 24" needle or adjusted for gauge
-US 4 24" needle (or adjusted for gauge) if you prefer to decrease needle size for ribbing
-US 5 DPNS or adjusted for gauge for hat crown
-ruler
-darning needle for weaving in ends
